A Body Within The Body
Our purpose is to learn to operate as a body of believers. We will learn to serve each other, the church, and non-believers in love and kindness through the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Our Training will consist of three parts
- Serving
- Teaching
- Using our gifts and talents to edify the body (that of Brothers And Sisters In Christ (B.A.S.I.C) and the entire body of Christ)
The mission of B.A.S.I.C is to become a body of believers that functions with unity, to bring glory, honor, and praise to God, in accordance with the Constitution and By-laws of New Hope Community Church; to learn the meaning of servant-leadership, and edification of the body in preparation for any role we may called to serve the body of Christ.
The object of this church shall be to maintain the public worship of God in association with the churches and conferences of the Advent Christian General Conference of America; to promote godly living among its members; to labor for the salvation of the lost, the edification of the saved, to spread the Gospel of Christ; to promote an evangelistic and missionary spirit; and to emphasize the message of predictive prophecy, the soon return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting through Jesus only. The doctrinal basis of this church shall be the Declaration of Principles as adopted by the Advent Christian General Conference of America in 1900(as revised). (Constitution and By-Laws of New Hope Community Church, Article 2)
